Fundraiser by Christ the King Secondary School - Jan 2008
€423.98 was
raised by the staff and students of Christ the King Secondary
School, South Douglas Road for Cat Action Trust. The money was
raised when a painting (which was painted and donated by a very
talented student) was auctioned, the proceeds being divided
between Cat Action Trust and another charity. This money is very
much appreciated and very needed and this sum will make it
possible for us to continue with our work ( €423.98 will, for
example, provide veterinary care for 12 cats/ kittens). ( more...

Grant assistance - Dec 2007
We were delighted to receive a grant of €10,000
from Ms Mary Coughlan, Minister of Agriculture,
Fisheries & Food, (Animal Health & Welfare
Division), just before Christmas. Needless to
say, this made our Christmas, and will be an enormous help
in paying our veterinary bills, which amounted to over
€30,000 last year. Thanks to this grant, a lot
more cats will be spayed or neutered, preventing the birth
of countless unwanted little kittens, while also assisting
injured, sick, and abandoned cats and kittens to
better health and new homes.
Our
Mission Statement
Cork Cat Action Trust is helping to solve the crisis and
tragedy of unwanted and abandoned cats. Cork Cat Action
Trust is dedicated to the health, well-being and welfare
of all cats: domestic, stray,
abandoned and feral.
Adoption
We have many domestic and feral cats in need of a good
home. You can see them online on our adoption
