1. I may live for 10 - 15 years.

2. I have only you and your family to care for me.

3. Trust is very important between us.

4. I need time to understand you and likewise you need time to understand me.

5. I will listen to you when you talk to me. I will know your voice forever.

6. Treat me well and I will always love you. Treat me badly and I would be better living with someone else.

7. I have teeth and claws but with you I will always be gentle.

8. Please notice if I am not myself, I may be getting sick or old and weak.

9. Take care of me when I do get old. Remember it will happen to you too.

10. Be with me when I am dying it will make my passing easier for me.
